NoLIta Cantina is an independent restaurant & bar situated on Liverpool’s bustling Bold Street born out of the mutual passion of two chefs looking to satisfy their appreciation and longing for traditional, homemade American style food.
After feeling there was a real lack of this type of food in Liverpool City Centre, the two founders & chefs Grace Makin & Jen Roberts wanted to change the common misconceptions that people tend to hold over this style of cuisine. The restaurant draws inspiration from the old deli-style dive bars of Manhattan which successfully bring both old and new cuisines from across the globe. The menu reflects this eclectic yet proven formula by following traditional Jewish-Italian recipes to southern state street food, each with their own NoLIta twist.

Amongst the menu are slow cooked meats such as brisket, pastrami & pulled pork which are rubbed and marinated in a secret recipe seasoning for up to 12 hours, handmade burgers which have undergone extensive & rigorous taste tests to ensure perfection & satisfaction to any burger connoisseur.

The aim of NoLIta Cantina is to not only introduce lesser known dishes such as frickles & latkes but to also impress upon people the importance of appreciating traditional cooking methods & recipes.
The restaurant interior offers a low-key and relaxed dining environment reminiscent of the delis & dive bars of New York from which the menu is inspired.

NoLIta Cantina prides itself on its use of locally sourced, high quality ingredients, truly believing that time, effort & attention to detail are the key to success
